The technology of growing plants in light structure of protected ground NetHouse.

 The main point of using the NetHouse is the cultivation of high-quality, ecologically pure vegetable products, mainly in the southern regions. Designed for use in the warm season.

The advantage of a small, home NetHouse :

The mesh protects against hail, strong wind, overheating and sunburn. The design allows the use of greenhouse forming and, accordingly, greenhouse varieties, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, for growing plants, which makes it possible to obtain several times greater yield in the same area. This year, we experimentally built a small NetHouse in the Krasnodar Territory. Unfortunately, construction was completed only in June and, accordingly, the vegetables were planted very late, however, this building showed itself very well and the vegetables continued to yield until December, until cold days with constant low negative temperatures were established.

The frame was made on site and was covered with an Optinette mesh.
The safety net was sewn in the shape of a cover with the help of a household sewing machine and completely covered an area of ​​160 sq.m. Drip irrigation was installed and a special two-color mulching film was laid. Fixing the mesh to the frame cables - using special clips. The sprinkler irrigation system was also installed with foggers. 
For planting, cassette seedlings were used, which was grown by the farmer himself in a small and uncomplicated device - a "seedling shelving."

Water supply - from the well. Additional equipment - filters, 2 controllers (for drip and sprinkler irrigation) and a fertigation unit for supplying irrigation water with fertilizers.

Despite the difficult weather and climatic conditions of 2012 and the late planting of seedlings in the Nethouse, we managed to get a good harvest, the harvesting of which lasted almost until winter.
The main advantages of the Nethouse  is to obtain high-quality products that are environmentally friendly, because for the whole summer the vegetables have never been sprayed with any pesticides - toxic chemicals. The Nethouse confirmed our expectations: the plants were not affected by insect pests such as thrips, whitefly, scoop and others. Accordingly, it was not necessary to apply pesticides.
The Nethouse reliably protected the plants from strong winds and heavy rains, of which there were many, from hail and sunburn. Film mulch worked well against phytophthora, retained moisture, reduced soil temperature.

The design of the Nethouse has another significant advantage: it is possible to grow plants in it, such as cucumbers and tomatoes using a vertical form of plants. You can use more productive varieties and get a big harvest per square meter. The total yield increases by 5-6 times compared with the usual garden bed.

These are the results of the AGROSHERIFF experiment on the application of the NetHouse technology on a common plot. The standard industrial size of such a facility is 1 hectare. We conducted tests in a small house, which can be easily installed on the farmland, in a small farm and even near the cottage. This is a simple and inexpensive structure and we hope that this technology will be developed.
